My family homesteaded in Central Oregon 5 generations ago and has been farming and ranching here ever since. Iam very proud of my heritage, who they were, what they stood for, and how I was raised.
Conflict is a human condition. While some avoid it, others shoulder their rifles and march in, for you, and me, and the common good of our nation.
Our active military and veterans who have entered the fray should be eternally appreciated and honored for their bravery and service. They defended the principles, ideals and liberty of America. Even as America hasn’t lived up to these principles. I have a great reverence for these men and women, their families and their sacrifices.
I joined Patriot Pinup in 2015. Dressing in classic 40s and 50s attire, hopefully evokes that feeling in folks that our country used to have. The old timey, USO type of morale boosting, smile generating, vibrant patriotism that unites us all. For God and country.
It warms my heart to represent and mirror what myself and others miss most about loved ones lost long ago. And at the very best, I hope it reminds our veterans they are not forgotten. I feel it’s my civic duty to serve those who have served and it’s an honor and privilege to do so with the ladies of Patriot Pinup.
