Kat Von Tease

I find it to be very rewarding- being Kat Von Tease. I enjoy getting dressed up in 1940 & 50’s pin-up attire, and participating in many of our veteran events, as well as executing our own throughout the year. This group of gals is a wonderful sisterhood of support, for each other, and our veteran community.

We all have a role to play here as Patriot Pinups, in order to be our very best group of volunteers. I take care of Media & Public Relations- making sure that our events get out to all the advertising & media outlets, bringing in sponsorships, donations, and fundraising monies.  All in the effort to help our local veterans throughout the year.

As a granddaughter, daughter, and widow of a veteran, I have a very special passion for our vets and have volunteered in several local organizations that help raise money and awareness for veteran needs in our community.  Some of which have involved planning & executing events, parades, & motorcycle fundraiser rallies. My late husband and I spent most of our free time riding our Harley’s, and being involved in the community through riding groups, and veteran fundraisers. Now I stay true to volunteering for these groups, in his honor.

In my professional life, I am the Executive Assistant to the Director at Central Oregon Collective. We create opportunities for individuals with disabilities to live full & rich lives in community with others through our values of passion, mutual respect & generosity.

In my personal life, I was born and raised in Portland Oregon, and in 1999 my family and I moved to Bend to enjoy all the wonderful things this region has to offer. I have two amazing adult children, one beautiful energetic granddaughter and a grandson on the way. I love my fur-babies, pushin’ the throttle of my 5.0 Mustang, and being involved in everything Central Oregon has to offer.
